Business Tradelines and Tiers
(Layers TWO, THREE, and FOUR)
I have previously taught about seting up a business foundation and the Layer 1 and 2 accounts needed to do that. If you have successfully set up your three Layer-2 accounts, you can skip down to the section marked LAYER 3 ACCOUNTS, if not here are some additional tradelines that will help you fill your layer-2 foundation.
For all of these, you want to make a minimum purchase of $50 or more and make a second purchase if the first does not get reported. Along with these, roughly every 6 months or so, make another purchase to ensure the account stays reporting. And you must pay the invoice 7-10 days BEFORE it is due; not too early but most definitely not last second either. set reminders for all of these so you will have the most success.
Set up, then Log into your account and place an order for a net 30 pay later purchase.
Include your Application ID on all correspondence.

To move your company forward with a third layer of accounts, we want to ensure we have between 3 to 5 items reporting to your Experian Business profile that have credit terms and that have been reported as PAID as agreed.
You want to aim for a Paydex score of 80 or above PRIOR to applying for the following accounts. Below are the Accounts with the easiest odds for Approvals with your third layer of Accounts.

Now that we have established our corporate credit baseline, we will focus on establishing some accounts that report as credit cards. They are not all necessarily credit cards with cash access, but many send a physical card in the mail, helping us establish a good business credit history. Since layer three is focused on getting higher value accounts such as the Fuelman cards, we should have some good account activity with strong credit limits, putting us in an ideal position to get the approvals we are looking for.
You will want to find THREE out of the following list and apply: Pep Boys and Jiffy Lube will almost always get approved at this level during the process.
I would suggest picking at least one fuel card local to you that will best serve your needs. It’s also good to remember that most of these accounts give you service access; if you need parts or service/repairs, most of these accounts will cover that as well. REMEMBER, you do not want to complete a personal guarantee for any of these accounts. If there is a requirement, you should leave blank or reach out to the company.

Fax this application, and you should receive a response within five business days. You can call and check the status at any time. On rare occasions, if the tradeline does not report the first time, please make a second purchase for it to report onto your business bureau report.
